Gynecomastia: The growth of breast tissue in a man may be due to an endocrinological problem or a side effect of medication, as well as the cause is unknown in most cases. In some cases, the increase in breast tissue is in the foreground, while sometimes the excess fat tissue comes to the fore.

During periods after weight loss, pregnancy and breastfeeding, breast volume decreases rapidly, while the breast skin does not adapt to it. The nipple head complex is displaced downwards, and the breast loses its erectness, acquires a hollow appearance.

In breast augmentation and lift, excess skin is removed, the nipple areola complex is taken to its new place, and the volume loss is eliminated with silicone implants. Here it is important to aim for a result that is natural, with proper roundness and steepness, as well as not too tense.

During periods after weight gain, pregnancy and breastfeeding, excessive breast volume and skin laxity may cause the breasts to sag. The weight of the tissue pulls the breasts downward, the nipple–areola complex shifts lower, and both aesthetic appearance and physical comfort may be affected.

In breast reduction surgery, excess breast tissue and skin are removed, and the nipple–areola complex is repositioned to a more ideal height. The remaining tissue is reshaped to create a lighter, firmer and more proportionate breast. Here, it is important to aim for a natural result with proper contour and lift, avoiding excessive tension to reduce the risk of complications.
